At the Berlin 6G Conference, our team demonstrated live a fully operational, ultra-compact private 5G network running entirely on a localized cluster of Raspberry Pi 5 devices!
The Tech Stack:
* Cellular Infrastructure: Powered by srsRAN and Open5GS.
* Voice/Video Stack: Integrated via Kamailio as the open-source, SIP-based telephony platform.
* Over-the-Air Validation: Nokia smartphones connected seamlessly to handle real-time OTT video calls, file transfers, and messaging.
AI-Driven Monitoring:
The entire setup was monitored via a dedicated Raspberry Pi 4 touch screen display running Grafana and Prometheus dashboards. To make it even smarter, we integrated an AI layer performing K-Means clustering on UE session traffic to analyze and profile network loads on the fly.
